About Student Assistance Services Corporation

Founded in 1985, Student Assistance Services (SAS) Corporation is a Westchester County-based, private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving schools and communities. They provide substance use, gambling and bullying prevention/ early intervention services, adolescent mental health treatment and training. They are affiliated with The Prevention Council of Putnam and Council on Addiction Prevention and Education of Dutchess County, supporting initiatives in those counties as well.

About the Referral Program

The Referral Program provides non-emergency support for concerns related to mental health, substance use, bullying, and gambling. Families and adolescents can call (914) 504-0090 between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm, Monday thru Friday, to be connected with a liaison at the SAS Counseling Center. The Counseling Center staff will provide personalized guidance for families to help them navigate and access community-based resources that best meet their needs. When families or school staff contact JCK and identify a student in need, this partnership will help youth connect directly to the most appropriate services.

This program is free of charge. It is not an emergency hotline, but a resource for youth and families to obtain tailored support from master’s-level professionals who can guide them toward the right network of professionals.

If you have questions about the Referral Program, you can email the JCK Foundation at team@jckfoundation.org, and one of our senior staff members will respond promptly. To learn more about the JCK Foundation, visit our website at jckfoundation.org.
